Robbery with violence, Brisbane City

Police are investigating a violent robbery incident that occurred in Brisbane City early this morning.
At about 3am, two men sitting in Cathedral Park on Wharf Street were approached by a man and a woman who demanded one of the men’s phone and threatened him with a metal pipe.
The female offender struck one of the men with the pipe resulting in the man handing over his mobile phone and wallet.
The two offenders fled the scene on foot with the property towards Astor Terrace.
The male victim received a possible broken thumb as a result of the altercation.
Investigations are continuing.
