Detectives have charged a woman following an alleged suspiciously lit house fire at Lowood this morning.
Around 8.20am, police and emergency services responded to a house fire in Honeyeater Place.
The structure was extensively damaged as a result of the blaze.
No one was injured with the house being unoccupied at the time.
A 30-year-old Lowood woman has been charged with one count of arson.
She is expected to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
