Two people have been seriously injured following a traffic crash at Rocklea tonight.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 5.45pm a car travelling along Balham Road collided with a motorbike at the intersection of Granard Road.
The 46-year-old male rider of the motorbike and his pillion passenger, a 26-year-old man, both sustained serious injuries and were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 70-year-old man, was not seriously injured as a result of the crash.
Balham Road was closed for a short time however is now open to all traffic.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
