Prostitution charges, Hamilton

Detectives have commenced the enforcement phase of a protracted Prostitution Enforcement Task Force operation targeting non-compliant advertising for prostitution in south east Queensland.
Operation Quebec Ravens began in August 2016 to detect and identify those involved in illegal prostitution and to disrupt their illegal activities and dismantle their illegal networks.
Over the past two days, search warrants were executed at an apartment complex on Hercules Street in Hamilton.
A 25-year-old Nundah woman has been issued with a notice to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 26 to answer the charges of engaging in prostitution through unlawful prostitution business and possess tainted property.
Two other people are assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations are ongoing and further arrests are expected.
