Police are investigating a violent burglary incident that occurred at Kingston this morning.
At about 9am, two men entered a home on Ellen Street and assaulted the two female occupants.
A 22-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman were bound with cable ties and electrical cord whilst the men stole property including a Subaru Forrester belonging to one of the women.
The women freed themselves a short time later and sought assistance at a nearby residence.
The two women received minor injuries only.
Investigations are continuing.
