Police have released CCTV in relation to a woman who had her car stolen during a violent incident at Arundel on Wednesday, July 18.
Around 4.40pm, a 53-year-old woman left her car running while she was donating clothes to a charity-bin at Allied Drive, when a man jumped into the driver’s seat.
The woman attempted to prevent the man from leaving in her vehicle and a short struggle ensued, before the man drove-off, knocking her to the ground.
The woman did not receive any physical injuries as a result of the incident, but was treated for shock at the scene.
The stolen 2013 white Mercedes Benz A250 Hatch was located around 2.40pm yesterday, abandoned at Blyth Street, Arundel.
The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a proportionate build. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, blue denim jean, a dark coloured baseball cap and blue backpack at the time if the incident.
