A 46-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Maryborough West this morning.
Preliminary inquiries indicate just after 6am a truck and a station wagon were involved in a crash on the Bruce Highway on-ramp at the intersection of Alice Street.
The driver of the station wagon, a 46-year-old Maryborough man was pronounced deceased at the scene while the truck driver, a 62-year-old man, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Bruce Highway remains closed with diversions through Maryborough in place.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
