Police are investigating after an 80-yer-old woman was threatened with a knife and had her car stolen at Spring Hill last night.
At around 7.10pm the woman drove into the upper level carpark of a business on Wickham Terrace.
As she exited her vehicle she was approached by a man who produced a knife and demanded her car keys.
The woman complied, handing over the keys and a sum of cash.
The man fled the scene in the vehicle, a brown 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 sedan with Queensland registration 652STR (similar to pictured).
The victim was not injured during the incident.
The man is described as young, Caucasian in appearance, around 173cm tall with brown hair and was wearing dark coloured clothing.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the car or have further information to come forward.
