Police are appealing to the public for assistance to identify an elderly man, who was assaulted at a bus-stop on the Gold Coast last month.
On August 23, a video was provided to police showing an elderly man being verbally threatened by a teenager.
The elderly man attempts to walk away but is pushed to the ground by a second teenager, before the two teens kick the man repeatedly to the stomach.
Subsequent investigations indicate the assault was recorded sometime in the evening between Monday August 20 and Wednesday August 22 and may have occurred in Robina or Varsity Lakes.
Extensive patrols of the area have failed to identify the assault location.
Anyone with information as to the victim’s identity, whereabouts or welfare – or offence location – is urged to contact police.
