Assault and attempted robbery, Logan Central

Police are appealing to the public for information following investigations into the assault and attempted robbery of a man at Logan Central on Wednesday, May 16.
Just after 1am, the 30-year-old was filling up his tyres at a service station on Wembley Road, when he was approached by two men who were not known to him.
The two men immediately began assaulting the victim, punching him in the head, neck, back, shoulders and chest, whilst demanding his car-keys.
The victim stated he did not have keys on him and the two men continued assaulting him before witnesses intervened, allowing him to jump into his vehicle and flee.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries as a result of the incident.
The two men were last seen leaving the premises on foot.
