Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery in Calamvale and an attempted armed robbery in Sunnybank Hills overnight.
At around midnight a woman was driving along Azalea Crescent when a red hatchback stopped in front of her car.
A male passenger and male driver exited the hatchback and produced handguns before demanding the woman’s car and fleeing the scene in both vehicles.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The stolen vehicle is described as a silver 2015 Toyota Camry with Queensland registration 850-VVD (similar to pictured).
The men are described as being aged in their 20s or 30s with dark complexions and short dark hair.
The younger man is described as being of a slim build.
Preliminary investigations indicate the same red hatchback may have been involved in a similar incident on The Avenue in Sunnybank Hills at around 11:30pm last night.
