Police have released updated CCTV of a motorbike they believe to be linked to a hit and run in Kingston earlier this week involving a young boy.
Initial information led police to believe a red motorbike was involved, however ongoing investigations has identified a different motorbike which may be linked.
A 5-year-old boy and a 31-year-old woman were crossing Juers Street near Attunga Street shortly after 4.30pm on October 23 when a motorbike travelled through a red light and collided with the boy.
The boy sustained a minor head injury as well as fractures to his leg and ankle as a result of the collision.
He was transported to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
The motorbike is now described as dark in colour.
Police are urging anyone who may recognise the motorbike shown in the vision to come forward.
