Update 2: Homicide investigation, Wangetti Beach

Police investigating the death of 24-year-old Woree woman Toyah Cordingley continue to appeal for public assistance.
Detective Inspector Sonia Smith, Crime Services Far North Police District, said police had received tremendous support from the community however investigators are renewing their appeal for information.
“This terrible crime has shocked and saddened the community and we’re seeing the result of this through the large number of reports from the public to both Policelink and Crime Stoppers.
“To date we’ve received over 240 Crime Stopper files, of which 50 are of interest to investigators.
“However, we still need more information and even if you think your information is vague, or insignificant, please pass it onto us, and we can assess it. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come from the smallest piece of information.”
Investigators are particularly interested in the following:

Anyone that has used the Wangetti carpark at the southern end over the past month or so;
