A man has been charged following an armed robbery that occurred in Maryborough on January 19.
At 5.15am, police will allege a man armed with an axe entered a petrol station on Ferry Street and made demands for cash.
It will be further alleged the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.
A 24-year-old Maryborough man was arrested and charged with one count each of armed robbery and enter premises with intent and is due to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court today.
