Police are investigating after a man was located at Labrador this morning suffering serious stab-wounds.
Around 6.06am, police were alerted by QAS to a man who had been stabbed in the back at McMillan Street.
The 28-year-old man was located on the street by members of the public, with a large knife in his right shoulder blade.
The man was transported by paramedics to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives have now declared the area a crime scene.
Investigations continue.
