Two charged with stealing campervan, Woodford

Police have charged two people after they stole a vehicle from Kilcoy and drove to Brisbane yesterday.
It will be alleged on May 14 at 8pm a man and a woman attended a park on Cruice Park at Woodford. They threatened two people with a screwdriver demanding their campervan. The man and woman left in the stolen campervan.
Around 6pm police observed the campervan in Caboolture yesterday and tasked Polair to track the vehicle.
Around 6.30pm the vehicle stopped on Summerfield Drive at Caboolture and the female passenger got out of the campervan before leaving in a utility driven by another woman.
The campervan continued south on the Bruce Highway before exiting onto the Gateway Motorway where tyre deflation device was successfully deployed near the Wyampa Road overpass. The male driver fled from the van on foot but was taken into custody nearby at around 7pm.
Polair tracked the utility to a Brisbane airport carpark
