Over the weekend police from State Crime Command’s Taskforce Maxima Organised Crime Gangs Group, along with local detectives, Tactical Crime Squad and Road Policing Unit undertook tactical activities in relation to an event at Yaamba following intelligence about attendance by people associated with outlaw motorcycle gangs (OMCGs).
Three arrests were made in relation to OMCG members wearing prohibited items in public including:
• A 41-year-old Zillmere man has been issued with a Notice to Appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow for wear prohibited item
• A 48-year-old Alton Downs man issued a Notice to Appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on October 6 for wear prohibited item.
• A 38-year- old Gympie man was issued with a Notice to Appear in Gympie Magistrates Court on October 15 for wear a prohibited item.
Two men were arrested in relation to outstanding warrants, including a 37-year-old Rochedale man wanted by New South Wales Police on a revocation
