Police investigating an attempted armed robbery at Woolloongabba yesterday evening have charged a man in relation to the incident.
It is alleged at about 10.10pm, a man entered a service station on Logan Road armed with a screwdriver and demanded money from the staff member.
The male staff member refused and asked the man to leave.
The man fled the scene without any property or cash.
It is alleged police located the man approximately 100 metres from the incident in possession of a screwdriver and a knife.
A 36-year-old South Brisbane man is charged with one count of attempted robbery and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 16.
