Serious assault, Coopers Plains

Detectives investigating a violent assault and disturbance which occurred in February at a Coopers Plains karaoke bar have released images of people who may be able to assist them with their investigations.
Around 3am on Sunday, February 25 five people – four men and one woman – attended the bar located on Boundary Road.
At 4.30am the group were advised that the venue was closing and were asked to leave. Police will allege the group became highly aggressive towards two male employees, before violently assaulting the pair.
It will be alleged a 22-year-old male employee was punched repeatedly in the head, sustaining bruising and swelling.
A 25-year-old male employee was also repeatedly punched and kicked in the head causing him to fall to the ground before he was dragged down a set of stairs. He sustained serious injuries including a facial fracture and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
