Robberies with violence, South Brisbane

Police have charged seven juveniles following two violent robberies in South Brisbane early this morning.
It will be alleged that shortly after 2am, a group of youths approached a 22-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man on Manning Street and made demands for money.
It is further alleged the group assaulted the pair, striking the man several times with a fence paling and repeatedly punching the woman before stealing money and fleeing.
Around 2.15am, it is alleged the group approached a 38-year-old man on Grey Street and punched him several times before attempting to steal his bag.
The youths fled on foot and were arrested by police a short time later in Kurilpa Park.
The 22-year-old woman, 20-year-old man, and 38-year-old man sustained bruising and were treated at the scene.
