Police from the Forensic Crash Unit are renewing their appeal for public assistance in relation to a serious hit and run traffic crash at Bahrs Scrub, in December last year.
Around 7.40pm, Johnnie Walker was on Wuraga Road near the intersection with Prangley Road on Thursday, December 14, was he was hit by a vehicle.
The 63-year-old sustained multiple rib fractures, a number of broken bones, severe bruising, required several blood transfusions and was in hospital for three months recovering. He has not regained the full use of his damaged left shoulder and arm.
Police have released vision of a vehicle, the driver of which may be able to assist with inquires, as they appeal for anyone who recognises the vehicle or has further information to contact them.
Despite a significant and protracted investigation, including a media campaign, no person or vehicle has been identified as responsible for this hit and run traffic crash.
