Crash investigators are conducting inquiries into a single vehicle traffic crash at Tallai last night in which a 17-year-old girl was critically injured.
Preliminary information indicates around 9.30pm a utility was travelling along The Panorama when the vehicle crossed the Worongary Road intersection and crashed into an embankment.
The 17-year-old female passenger sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The 17-year-old male driver was taken to the same hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
Gold Coast Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident and is appealing for anyone with information to contact police.
