Two charged over drugs, Biggera Waters

Police have charged a man and woman after allegedly locating a quantity of dangerous drugs, weapons and cash at Biggera Waters this morning.
Around 11am, Gold Coast detectives executed a search warrant at a private residence on Cawthray Street, where they allegedly located more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, GHB, two conductive energy weapons, knives, around $10,000 cash and other drug utensils.
A 32-year-old Biggera Waters man has now been charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing a weapon and one count each of possessing utensils and possessing tainted property.
A 36-year-old Biggera Waters woman has now been charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing a weapon and one count each of possessing utensils, possessing property suspected of being proceeds of an offence and unlawful possession of a motor vehicle.
Both are scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday October 18.
