Police are investigating a serious crash in Merrimac this afternoon.
Around 2.15pm, a vehicle was travelling east on Gooding drive when it veered off the road and into the back of a car which was parked.
The male driver and sole occupant of the moving vehicle sustained head and internal injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
The parked car contained a sole male occupant in the driver’s seat received minor injuries during the crash.
