Unlawful use of the motor vehicle charges, Mackay

Mackay police have charged a man and two teenage boys following their investigations into a number of property related offences in Mackay over the past few weeks.
Police will allege the group were responsible for committing a number of property related offences across the Mackay district including the theft of a number of motor vehicles from private residences in Mount Pleasant, West Mackay and Marian between November 4 and November 9.
It will be further alleged that the group then used the vehicles to ram into several local businesses in Andergrove and Mount Pleasant on November 5.
Police have recovered five vehicles that were alleged to have been stolen by the group.
An 18-year-old South Mackay man was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence, contravene direction and possession of suspected stolen property.  He is scheduled to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court
