Detectives are investigating after an armed robbery in Loganlea yesterday afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate at around 5:00pm a woman was approached by a man as she exited her car at a business on Coral Street.
The man threatened the woman with a small axe before stealing her car keys and fleeing the scene in her vehicle.
The woman did not require medical treatment as a result of the incident.
The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, aged in his early 20s with shoulder-length dark hair.
The vehicle is described as a yellow 2016 Hyundai Accent (similar to pictured) with Queensland registration 073-WLW.
