Police have charged a 15-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman after allegedly crashing their stolen vehicle into a police car at Labrador last night.
Just after 6:30pm, police observed a stolen Hyundai i30 driving erratically along Smith Street.
PolAir tracked the movements of the vehicle until it stopped at a block of units on Usher Avenue.
Police attended the address and drove into the carpark. The stolen vehicle attempted to drive out of the carpark, colliding with the police car causing damage to both vehicles.
The 19-year-old driver and a 15-year-old female passenger were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital and were treated for minor injuries.
Two police officers were also conveyed to hospital for observation.
Police also conducted a search of the vehicle and located a quantity of drugs, utensils and a knife.
It is also alleged the 19-year-old woman stole the car from a residence on Great Barrier Reef
