Disturbance and assault, Wynnum West

A 32-year-old man and 39-year-old woman have been charged following an alleged break-in of a home at Wynnum West yesterday.
Around 4:30pm, the pair have approached a residence on Evelyn Street and allegedly damaged property.
They gained entry to the house where they were confronted by a 65-year-old man and an altercation commenced.
The 32-year-old man sustained a minor injury from a garden tool while the 39-year-old woman suffered a minor arm injury after being struck with a bat.
Paramedics attended the residence and transported the 39-year-old woman to hospital while the 65-year-old man was not physically injured.
While being transported to hospital, the woman allegedly became aggressive and spat at paramedics and police officers.
The 39-year-old Wynnum West woman has been charged with two counts each of serious assault of a police officer and serious assault of a public officer while performing their duties. She has also been charged
