Further arrest, Homicide investigation, Cannon Hill

Police today charged a 43-year-old woman with murder following a homicide investigation into the death of Willow Dunn at Cannon Hill.
This second arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation by detectives from the State Crime Command Homicide Investigation Unit, Child Trauma Unit and Morningside Child Protection Investigation Unit.
The Cannon Hill woman is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this afternoon.
At about 9.20am on Monday May 25, police were called to a Bent Street residence after the four-year-old girl was located deceased. Later that night a 43-year-old man, the girl’s father, was charged with murder.
The post mortem examination revealed that, at the time of her death she was experiencing serious malnourishment, along with many other health concerns that supported sustained mistreatment.
Detective Acting Inspector Chris Knight from the Homicide Investigation Unit said detectives are continuing to appeal for information and have initiated enquiries interstate as part of the investigation.
