Police investigating a fatal, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred at Coulson yesterday are appealing for public assistance.
Just after 11am, a truck and trailer laden with hay, rolled while negotiating a curve on Beaudesert Boonah Road, approximately 400 metres east of Lilybrook Road.
The 68-year-old male driver from Sunnybank Hills and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam vision of the area at the time of the crash, to please contact them.

Rockhampton police have charged a teenager following their investigation into a number of property offences which occurred over the weekend.
It will be alleged windows of various businesses and cars were damaged with property and cash stolen.
After information was received from the public, police yesterday located a teenage boy at a North Rockhampton residence.
A 17-year-old Koongal boy has been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence, five counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and four counts of wilful damage.

The Forensic Crash Unit has charged a teenage boy following a fatal traffic crash at Dulong on March 27.
It will be alleged at around 11:30pm a car travelling northbound along Dulong Road left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Emergency services attended the scene and managed to free the alleged 17-year-old male driver from the wreckage as well as the passenger, a 17-year-old girl.
Both were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition however the girl passed away en route.
A 17-year-old Woombye boy has since been issued with a Notice To Appear for driving without due care and attention.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Police have charged a woman following the alleged stabbing of a man at Redbank last night.
It will be alleged around 6.30pm a man and a woman, who are known to each other, had an argument during which the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the left side with a small kitchen knife.
A 23-year-old Redbank man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old Redbank woman has been charged with one count of unlawful wounding and will appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning, July 24.

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred at Waterford early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate at about 3.50am, a 29-year-old Bethania woman was struck by a car on Albert Street between Logan River Bridge and Nerang Street.
The woman sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was not physically injured.
All eastbound traffic is being diverted onto Loganlea Road.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who witnessed the incident or have relevant dash-cam footage to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
