Wounding investigation, Ipswich
Police are investigating a wounding incident which occurred in Ipswich this afternoon.
Around 4.30pm, a man presented himself at a chemist on Brisbane Street with a wound to his abdomen.
Staff alerted QAS and the man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to a non-life-threatening wound.
Police have declared a crime scene as officers continue to investigate the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time, is asked to contact police.

Queensland police celebrate NAIDOC week
This morning, Boondall Police Station hosted one of many events across the state for NAIDOC week.
This year’s NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) theme is ‘Because Of Her, We Can‘, today we heard from numerous strong Indigenous women who shared their own stories and how the women in their lives shaped who they are today.
The event was attended by representatives of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities and representatives from State Government agencies and non-government agencies working closely with North Brisbane District Police Liaison Officers in joint endeavours.
Senior Constable Tamara White, a proud Indigenous women herself, was the MC for the event and said she was very honoured to be apart of this weeks celebration.
Aunty Vicky Dale presented the Welcome to Country on behalf of Turrbal People and shared her own stories of strong female inspirations throughout her childhood and adult life.

Habitual consorting charge, Gold Coast
A 21-year-old Gold Coast man has been charged with Habitual Consorting under the new Serious and Organised Crime legislation.
The man was charged having been previously issued two official warnings not to consort with recognised offenders. Police allege the man is a former member of the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. It is further alleged he has continued to consort with recognised offenders identified in the previous official warning notices.
The man was charged following the execution of a search warrant on an Upper Coomera home on Saturday.
In relation to the habitual consorting charge, he appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court this morning where he was given strict bail conditions to reappear on August 30.
“The habitual consorting charge carries a potential three years imprisonment and is intended to disrupt and prevent serious criminal activity by deterring recognised offenders from establishing, maintaining or expanding criminal networks.

Police charge fourth man after mosque incidents
Police have arrested and charged fourth person in relation to incidents at the Kuraby and Darra Mosques last week.
It will be alleged that a group of men attended the Kuraby Mosque on July 4 and disrupted proceedings in the place of worship.
It will be further alleged the men caused disturbance at the Darra Mosque on July 5 around 12pm.
Police intercepted a vehicle in the vicinity and seized recording equipment including video cameras and mobile phones.
Police have since also executed a search warrant a home in Redbank Plains Road in Bellbird Park and seized a number of items associated with the incidents.
As a result, a 25-year-old Bellbird Park man has been charged with two counts of public nuisance and one count each of trespass and enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.
He has been bailed to appear at the Holland Park Magistrates Court on July 25.
