Drug charges, Pimpama

The Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol Group (RAP) have charged a man and a woman following a search warrant in Pimpama this morning.
Officers executed a search warrant at an address on Belconnen Drive and it will be alleged that after a search of the property, officers located around 2 kilograms of cannabis, 5 grams of cocaine and an amount of cash as well as drug utensils.
A Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo also was also recovered at the address.
An 21-year-old man has been charged with one count of drug trafficking, and two counts each of possession and supplying dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
A 46-year-old Pimpama woman has been issued with a Notice To Appear for possession of a dangerous drug, possession of utensil and possession of protected species.
She is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates court on July 6.
