Police seize firearms and drugs during search, Marsden

Police have charged two men with multiple firearm and drug offences after executing a search warrant at a residence in Marsden yesterday (June 25).
Investigators from the Logan District’s Major and Organised Crime squad executed a raid at an address on Homestead Street around 8:30am, allegedly seizing a number of homemade firearms, firearm parts, ammunition and drugs.
Police allegedly located three firearms constructed with steel pipe and loaded with shot gun ammunition, shot gun shells, methylamphetamine, drug utensils and a number of firearm components in various stages of completion.

A 28-year-old Marsden man will face one count of manufacturing weapon while not licensed, one count of unlawful possession of weapons, two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, one count of possessing anything for use in the commission of crime, one count of possess tainted property, one count of possess utensils, one count of authority required to possess explosives, and one count of contravention of
