Detectives attached to Townville’s Major and Organised Crime Squad (MOCS) acting on information from the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission have charged a man and woman after the discovery of two hydroponic cannabis operations at an Alligator Creek property.
A search warrant was executed on Sunday at an Apple Flat Road address where a 68-year-old man and 75-year-old woman were arrested as a result.
The pair have each been charged with one count each of produce a dangerous drug, possess a dangerous drug and possess things used in connection with the production of a dangerous drug.
The man and woman will appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on August 20.
