Police are investigating a robbery with violence on Kuran Street and Thornton Street, Wavell Heights, on the evening of January 8.
Just before 8 pm a 36-year-old Chermside woman was running along a foot path between Kuran and Calga Streets when she was struck in the head from behind, rendering her unconscious.
When she awoke her shoes and belt had been stolen.
The victim received head injuries and was treated at the Prince Charles Hospital.
Police are seeking any witnesses, CCTV or dash-cam footage and anyone who was in that area at that time is urged to contact police.
Police investigations are continuing.
