Police are investigating after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic crash at Advancetown this morning.
Preliminary information suggests a 53-year-old man was riding his motorbike along Nerang Murwillumbah Road around 7.20am when he lost control and struck a guard rail.
The man sustained serious internal injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
