Police are investigating a serious traffic incident in Kippa Ring which occurred late this morning.
Around 10.15am police were called to Edmund Street, following reports a skateboarder had been struck by a car.
The 39-year-old rider was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment to serious head injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and are appealing to any witnesses to the incident to please contact them.
