A man and woman have been charged in relation to the alleged death of a man and the serious wounding of another man in Mount Garnet last night.
The two men were located with serious stab wounds to the back and chest outside the ambulance station on Garnet Road just before 10pm.
A 39-year-old Mount Garnet man has been charged with one count each of murder and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
A 34-year-old Mount Garnet woman has been charged with one count each of murder and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both are due to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court this afternoon.
