Three people have been charged with a number of serious offences after the allegedly stolen car they were travelling in was tracked by the police helicopter from Caboolture to Wamuran yesterday.
It will be alleged that just after 7am, a 2004 Holden Adventra was stolen from a Noellan Drive address in Deception Bay.
Later in the morning, the vehicle was spotted by Pol Air 2 and it was tracked through Caboolture, Wamuran and Woodford.
It will be alleged that the vehicle was driven dangerously including on the wrong side of the road and at speeds up to 140 kilometres per hour.
It is also alleged that at one time, the two male occupants changed seats and took turns driving.
A pursuit was authorised as were the deployment of stingers. The vehicle was successfully stung on Delaney’s Creek Road.
Around 11am, the vehicle lost control at Wamuran, outside a service station.
