Le Fromage Yard, located at Wynnum Road in Morningside, is hosting another Wine & Cheese Evening on Thursday, the 11th of April 2019.
From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the fromager will host the exclusive event for guests who want to taste the best wine and cheeses from Australia and France.
Le Fromage Yard will prepare eight different types of cheeses and four bottles of wines for connoisseurs and fanciers. Interested individuals may purchase a ticket to the event for $85.49.
On 21st of March, the cheesemonger successfully hosted their first in-store Wine & Cheese Evening at the Morningside shop thus a repeat of the event was warranted. Le Fromage Yard set up a long table so that guests could mingle and socialise with ease. They were able to share what they wine and cheese pairings they liked best with each other.
Since 2014, Stephanie Stevenson and Pierre Lantourne have been selling cheeses at various Brisbane pop-up food and farmers market until they set up a permanent shop at Morningside.
Le Fromage Yard has regular stocks of over 60 kinds of cheese, along with an assortment of crackers, jams, dips, pastes, saucisson sec, and marinated olives. They expanded their inventory to include boutique wines, olive oils, and cheese tools.
Cheese lovers may call in and pre-order their favourite chunks, platters, towers, or hampers to pick up at the store or to be delivered every Monday. Check out the shop’s cheese room online before ordering for a minimum of 200g a wheel.
