Two men have been arrested following a series of alleged armed robberies, break-ins and car thefts across the Darling Downs this morning.
At around 4.00am two men allegedly stole a Holden Commodore from a residence at Westbrook before fleeing the scene.
A short time later the same vehicle is alleged to have been involved in a fuel drive off at a nearby service station.
It is further alleged the same Holden Commodore was driven back to the Westbrook home where it was stolen from and a man armed with a machete approached the residents, threatened them and demanded the keys to a Toyota Hilux parked in the driveway.
The man then fled in the Hilux in the company of the stolen Comoodore and a silver Toyota Camry driven by two other men.
The residents of the property were not injured as a result of the incident.
Futher police inquiries led to the Toyota Camry being located
