Maryborough detectives investigating the serious assault of a 45-year-old Torquay man last week have a man in custody who they previously released the name and image earlier today.
The incident occurred at Urangan Street Torquay on Wednesday, September 4 just after 2pm.
The 45-year-old victim in this instance remains in a critical condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Detectives are continuing their investigations.
Anyone who may have CCTV footage or may have seen the incident are asked to contact police.
