Officers from Taskforce Maxima have charged three members of the Mongrel Mob OMCG in an ongoing operation focused on two incidents in Eagleby over the past month.
On August 30, a member of the Mongrel Mob OMCG has commenced an argument with three men who entered an Eagleby cafe, believing they were from a rival OMCG. During the incident furniture was thrown, and one of the men suffered a fractured arm.
Police are seeking information in relation to the identity of the men.
In a separate incident at 12pm on September 18, a 29-year-old man returning to his car after purchasing from a shop at an Eagleby shopping complex was approached by two men. The men have threatened the victim with a knife, mistakenly believing he was from a rival OMCG. The men chased the victim continuing to threaten him and attempting to stab him.
