Burglary with violence, Eight Mile Plains

Police have charged three teenagers after a man was injured and property stolen during an alleged robbery at a home at Eight Mile Plains last night (May 11).
It will be alleged that at around 7.15pm a 33-year-old man discovered a teenager inside a room of a Demigre Street property.
The teen demanded the man’s car keys and an altercation ensued during which time the man sustained a minor cut to his eye and nose.
The teen, along with two other male teenagers, fled in the man’s Mitsubishi Lancer, with property including computers, mobile phones and cash also stolen.
Two other men home at the time were not injured.
Polair2 began tracking the stolen vehicle after they observed it in Heathwood at around 9.30pm.
The car slowed to a stop in Rundell Street, Crestmead with one of the teens exiting the vehicle.
The Dog Squad attended and located the teenager hiding in the yard of a Rundell
