A 19-year-old Morayfield man has been denied police bail and will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court today facing 11 charges including dangerous driving, driving under the influence of liquor or a drug and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A police patrol spotted an alleged stolen vehicle on Paradise Road, Morayfield around 7.20pm last night (September 28).
The vehicle failed to stop for police and a tyre deflation device (stingers) was successfully deployed in Paradise Road.
The car, now with a deflated front tyre, continued travelling streets in the local area with its movements relayed to police on the ground by Polair2.
A police pursuit was commenced in Caboolture with the vehicle stopping in King Street after the driver clipped a road sign and a council garden bed at around 7.35pm.
The male driver was arrested at the scene and transported to hospital for assessment before being taken to the watch house.
