Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll today joined Minister for Police Mark Ryan to officially open the brand-new Arundel Police Hub.

Commissioner Carroll said the new facility was a state-of-the-art, modern building.
“This is an exciting moment for the Gold Coast District, as the new facility is designed to support police operations across the region,” Commissioner Carroll said.
“The new complex includes a dayroom with 104 workstations and a purpose-built Dog Squad facility.
“Various operational areas will be located within the facility, including the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol Group (RAP).”
Minister Ryan said the $11.5 million facility was a win for the Gold Coast.
“The future of policing is agile, flexible and borderless and this Police Hub is well-positioned to maximise safety and response times for the Coast,” Mr Ryan said.
