Pursuit, Gold Coast

Two boys aged 12 and 15 have been charged after an alleged stolen vehicle was driven at speed through the Gold Coast overnight before crashing into a police car at Tugun.
It will be alleged on November 29, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen during the burglary of a home on Catalina Court at Mermaid Waters.
The vehicle was then observed around 11.50 last night (November 30) by POLAIR travelling erratically along Bermuda Street in Burleigh Waters.
Police activated lights and sirens and attempted to intercept the Jeep, however it failed to stop.
POLAIR continued to track the stolen car until a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed as it travelled along the Pacific Highway.
Officers pursued the stung vehicle until it eventually collided with a police car at Tugun, coming to stop.
Two boys were taken into custody at the scene. No one sustained serious injury as a result of the crash.
