QPS officers and staff members honoured at awards ceremony

Congratulations to all award recipients
Member for Rockhampton Barry O’Rourke MP on behalf of Minister for Police and Minister for Corrective Services the Honourable Mark Ryan MP yesterday joined Assistant Commissioner Clem O’Regan to recognise Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers and staff members for their contributions to the service.
Mr O’Rourke MP assisted Assistant Commissioner O’Regan with the presentation of the awards for a range of levels of service and achievement.
The National Police Service Medal, recognising a police officer’s past and future commitment to give ethical and diligent service was awarded to Sergeant Liam Daley, Senior Constable Amy Daley and Senior Constable Benique Howes.
Sergeant Daley, Senior Constable Daley and Senior Constable Howes were also awarded the National Medal for recognition of long service in an organisation that protects life and property at a risk to its members.
