Police are investigating an unlawful wounding incident in Paget this morning.
Around 9.45am police were called to a Connors Rd address following reports a man had been seriously assaulted and had his car stolen.
The man sustained a wound to his upper leg, consistent with a gunshot wound during the incident.
The stolen vehicle was located on Wardrop Road a short time later.
Police would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with inquiries into the incident.
The first man is described as Caucasian, wearing a black shirt, dark blue jeans, black hat.
The second man is described as Caucasian with a stocky build, curly brown hair and grey shorts.
Officers are asking the public not to approach the men but to contact police immediately.
