Two charged over drug offences, Main Beach

Police have charged two men after allegedly uncovering a significant quantity of dangerous drugs, weapons and cash at a Main Beach unit this morning.
Around 8.30am, detectives from the Gold Coast District Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) executed a search warrant at a unit on Woodroffe Avenue, where they allegedly located approximately 129 grams of methylamphetamine, 14.8 grams of MDMA, 1.2 litres of GHB, $20,000 cash, a rifle, knuckledusters, stolen identification, prescription medication, digital scales, syringes, three mobile phones and other evidence of drug supply.
A 44-year-old Main Beach man has been charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property, supplying dangerous drugs, receiving tainted property, possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of a drug offence, possessing utensils, possessing shortened firearms, possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with commission of a drug
